HAVE QUESTIONS?
Outdoor Fire Pits FAQs
We answer some of the most common questions regarding designing and installing an outdoor fire pit. Feel free to reach out to us if your question isn't on the list!
- Is an outdoor fire pit worth it?
- Yes, an outdoor fire pit is worth it if you want to enhance your outdoor living space. It adds warmth, ambiance, and a perfect gathering spot for family and friends, while also increasing your property’s value.
- Do outdoor fire pits keep you warm?
- Yes, outdoor fire pits provide enough heat to keep you warm during cool evenings. The amount of heat depends on the type of fire pit and fuel used, with outdoor gas fire pits and wood-burning fire pits offering different levels of warmth.
- How deep should a fire pit be?
- A standard outdoor fire pit should be about 6 to 12 inches deep. This depth ensures a steady flame while containing the fire safely. For gas outdoor fire pits, the depth may vary depending on the design and gas lines.
- How to build a cheap fire pit?
- The cheapest way to build a fire pit is by using simple materials like concrete blocks or bricks. You can create a DIY outdoor wood fire pit by digging a shallow pit, lining it with gravel, and stacking inexpensive materials like bricks or pavers around the perimeter.
